The workshop has been cancelled for the time being due to the corona virus. At the moment, it is not clear whether the workshop will be simply postponed or cancelled completely.

Heat flux thermography can detect subsurface defects in work pieces by analyzing the heat flux or the thermal conductivity within each piece. The Fraunhofer Vision Alliance offers a comprehensive introduction into this topic in a two-day training workshop. 

A Fraunhofer WKI expert will speak about the basic principles and practical application of inline thermography and about image processing.
