Technology Roof 2022

The festival “The Roofs” accompanies the multisport event “European Championships Munich 2022” with a diverse and free supporting program. In the “Technology Roof powered by Fraunhofer”, research can be experienced live.

The Fraunhofer WKI will be demonstrating a stand-up paddleboard made from renewable raw materials. For the core of the lightweight sandwich element, the researchers use balsa wood from disused wind-energy rotor blades.
