Messe

The “WerkstoffWoche” is a biennial congress for materials experts and industrial users. At the accompanying trade fair, “Werkstoffe für die Zukunft” (Materials for the future), manufacturers, processors and users of materials as well as manufacturers of machines, systems and testing equipment will be presenting their innovations. Manufacturers and service providers from related disciplines complete the exhibitor portfolio.

The Fraunhofer WKI is participating in the congress with two presentations. At the trade fair, the Fraunhofer WKI will be presenting future-oriented small load carriers for the automotive industry. The new small load carriers contain renewable raw materials, are lighter than the products currently available on the market and have a larger internal volume with unchanged external dimensions.
