Formaldehyde: Requirements and testing methods

On-demand training of the WKI | AKADEMIE®

© Fraunhofer WKI | Manuela Lingnau

Not only in Germany but also worldwide, a whole series of different legal requirements now exists concerning the production and utilization of low-formaldehyde wood-based materials, which are reflected in various certification standards such as E1, CARB or JIS.

In our Testing Body for Formaldehyde, we offer companies the certification and testing of wood-based materials in the European area and, through the corresponding authorizations, also in America. We utilize our expertise and many years of experience for the further and new development of formaldehyde testing methods.

We pass on this expertise at the WKI | AKADEMIE® in demand-oriented training courses in which we provide specific answers to individual questions from industry.
